In what is shaping as almost a dead rubber, the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Milwaukee Bucks. Join The Roar for live scores from 10am (AEDT).

The Cavaliers have been first place in the Eastern Conference for most of the season, and now have a record of 50 wins and 20 losses.

Still, the record would leave them third if they were in the Western Conference, and they have never looked comfortable.

LeBron James has been leading from the front, but the Cavs need others to stand up. Kevin Love, in particular, has been nowhere near his normal production levels this season, only averaging 15 points and nine rebounds per game.

Cleveland are dispatching lower-ranked teams, but losses against the Miami Heat, Utah Jazz, Memphis Grizzlies, Washington Wizards and Toronto Raptors are concerning for a team that should be challenging for the NBA championship.

The Bucks meanwhile, are 11th in the east, seven games behind the eighth-placed Chicago Bulls. As much as tanking of games is against everything, with little chance of making the playoffs, the Bucks may try and elevate the draft pick by doing just that.

They come into this game having lost three of their last four matches, against the Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors. The loss against the Pistons, by just one point, featured a dreadful last quarter effort, as Milwaukee were held to just 17 points.

Their shooting was awful, offensive options not much better and they finished the game with 13 turnovers, plus a deficit in rebounding of eight.

The season series is currently squared at one all, with the Bucks winning in overtime during the first game, before the Cavaliers bounced back just five days later with a 15-point win on the back of LeBron scoring 27.

Prediction
The Bucks are not in any sort of position to challenge the Cavaliers.

Cleveland by 19.
