The Golden State Warriors will look to continue their dominant season when they host the under-pressure Los Angeles Clippers. Join The Roar for live scores of the match from 1:30pm (AEDT).

The Warriors come into this game having lost to the San Antonio Spurs on the road just a couple of days ago, before bouncing back with a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The loss against the Spurs, while not doing anything to their position on the ladder, will concern Golden State as they approach the post-season. The Warriors were restricted to just 79 points, and couldn’t shut down San Antonio with their own work on the defensive end.

Before that loss though, the Warriors were on a seven-game winning streak. It’s rare for them to lose but the Spurs loss did scream a little more than a fluke.

The Clippers, meanwhile, have been in a horror patch of form and will need to improve to turn things around and push for home-court advantage in the playoffs.

While they have lost four of their last six, it is the last two matches that will worry them the most. While they have done a great job without Blake Griffin on the court, the loss of their superstar appears to be finally to catching up with them.

Los Angeles’ inside presence inside has been limited and Chris Paul simply can’t do everything on the offensive front.

In their last match, they suffered a loss to the New Orleans Pelicans. The Clippers were outclassed in nearly ever area, finishing shooting 40 per cent from the field and a deficit of 12 in rebounding. All of that allowed the Pelicans to take the match by four points.

The teams have already played three times this season, all won by the Warriors. Across the three games, there have only been 14 points separating the two sides with Stephen Curry proving to be the difference.

Prediction
The Warriors should once again get the job done here. The Clippers won’t be able to go with them inside and Golden State simply have too many scorers.
