The Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Brooklyn Nets in a dead-rubber game. Join The Roar for live scores of the match from 10am (AEDT).

Despite the fact that neither team can change their position or prospects for the upcoming playoffs, the Cavaliers will be keen to bounce back after suffering a shock loss a few days ago.

Cleveland took on Houston in their last outing and fell by six points, outscored 35 points to 16 in the final quarter by a desperate Rockets outfit.

Despite the fact the Cavaliers are still on top of the Eastern Conference and are likely to finish there, with a record of 52 wins and 22 losses, still two games ahead of the Toronto Raptors, their form has been up-and-down, something they can ill-afford at this point of the season.

Brooklyn are at the other end, with only the Philadephia 76ers travelling worse than them in the east. The Nets’ current record reads an abysmal 21 wins and 53 losses, with the end of the season not able to come quick enough.

The sides have met three times this season, with the Nets winning the last meeting in a huge upset just over a week ago. Despite the fact the Cavaliers lead the season series two games to one, they must find a way to bounce back here and make a statement.

Prediction
Despite everything, the Cavaliers will get the job done here. The Nets look absolutely horrible.
