It was a story of two completely separate sides tonight, as the Raiders completely out played a hapless Tigers outfit. The final score, 60-6.
It was all over from the first 5 minutes of the second half, with the Raiders adding to their half time lead. They scored 3 tries in 12 minutes to begin the second half and from there, the flood gates opened.
The Raiders pack ran harder, tackled harder and tried harder than their opponents. The Tigers dropped the ball, gave away penalties and ran sideways all night long, whereas the Raiders did exactly the opposite.
Josh Hodgson was superb. He was crafty out of dummy half and laid on no less than 6 tries. The right edge were also unstoppable, with Leilua and Rapana the main pain bearers. They combined for 6 tries and were seemingly untouchable for most of the game.
For the Raiders, they will be hoping for much of the same next weekend against Penrith. For the Tigers, that’s 6 straight losses and they seem a club in crisis. This was one of the worst team performances I’ve seen in recent memory.
Final score
Raiders 60
Tigers 6

The Tigers are out to stem the flow following five straight losses. The up-and-down Raiders are out to find some form after setting the comp on fire one week, and then putting in poor performances the next.
The Raiders have named the same side that put in a disappointing performance against Cronulla disappointingly last weekend. They have made three additions to the bench, but time will tell if any changes occur. Aidan Sezer will look to further his Origin claims with a good performance and he will need it, with Blake Austin still missing.
The Tigers have been struggling; after starting 2-0 they have lost their last five. Robbie Farah won’t be happy to lose yet another game, having missed the opening two wins. He really needs to lift the side and find that elusive Origin form to propel his Tigers to victory today.
A big inclusion for Wests is Sauaso Sue, returning to start at lock. His hard running and tackling were certainly missed last week; expect him to get over the advantage line on most of his carries today.
The trip to Canberra normally concerns away sides, but the Tigers have won six of their last seven at GIO Stadium. Therefore, with home form going out the window, the team wanting the two points will be more likely to come out victorious.
Prediction
This one could go either way, although, following up from their good showing last weekend, I’m tipping the Tigers. The Raiders leaked far too many points against Cronulla (40), and the Tigers will post a similar score for mine.
