The Adelaide Crows have kept their top two hopes alive with a convincing 72-point win over the Fremantle Dockers at Domain Stadium.

It wasn’t quite the percentage booster they would have been after but it marks the first ever time the Crows have won two games in Perth in the same season.
The Crows led pretty much all day long but Fremantle continued to make life difficult for them with some great tackling pressure.
In the losing side Michael Walters had a great day as he showed again that he has the ability to be one of the best small forwards in the league.
Again for Adelaide it was the Rory show as Laird, Atkins, and Sloane were all great contributors for their team in the win.
The Crows now sit in third position with two games to play and they will be looking to consolidate a top four spot with a win in the Showdown next week.

There were plenty of great performances for the Crows but Rory Laird gets the nod after another great game in which he tallied 33 disposals at 84 per cent efficiency, nine score involvements, seven marks, four tackles, and four inside 50s.

A very close second was Rory Atkins who racked up 32 disposals at 84 per cent efficiency, a goal, 11 score involvements, three marks and four inside 50s.

In a battle of the small forwards, Eddie Betts gets the nod over Michael Walters as he finished with six goals, nine score involvements, seven marks and five tackles.
