When is Cronulla Sharks vs North Queensland Cowboys NRL preliminary final? Kick-off time, date, TV guide, teams

A spot in the NRL Grand final awaits the winner of the first preliminary final to be played at Allianz Stadium in Sydney between the Cronulla Sharks and North Queensland Cowboys on Friday, September 23 with kick-off at 7:55pm (AEST).

The match will be shown by both free-to-air TV provider the Nine Network and pay TV service Fox Sports on Channel 501.

Coverage on Channel Nine will commence at 7:30pm (AEST) while Fox Sports will begin their coverage immediately following the Holden Cup match between the Sydney Roosters and St George Illawarra Dragons at around 7pm (AEST).

Both networks will have post-game coverage and finish their respective broadcasts at around 10:30pm (AEST).

The teams for the clash were announced on Tuesday Afternoon.

The Sharks enter the clash fresh having had a week off while the Cowboys defeated the Broncos in an extra time classic last week to extend their season.

The winner of this match will go onto the grand final, where they will take on either the Melbourne Storm or Canberra Raiders.
