As Jürgen Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool approaches its one-year anniversary, his true coaching aptitude is being exposed.

His ambitions for his team may be a work in progress, but his attacking prowess is a rapidly improving force.

Liverpool has scored 26 goals in their nine games this season in all competitions. They have scored 18 goals in seven Premier League fixtures.

As an attacking force, the Reds have looked unstoppable with multiple goal scorers.

Under Klopp, Liverpool has moved away from the reliance on one lethal striker and now presents as a formidable attacking unit.

The form of Adam Lallana and the acquisition of Sadio Mane have been vital for the Reds.

Their depth in attack has been boosted with an even contribution from Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi.

The influence from midfielders Philippe Coutinho, Georginio Wijnaldum and Jordan Henderson in attack has been imperative.

Emre Can is slowly returning to match fitness and the imposing German could be key to Klopp’s midfield group moving forward.

With the additions of Mane and Wijnaldum, Liverpool presents an attacking unit that consists of flexibility and unique individual talent.

Whether it is the pace of Mane, precision of Wijnaldum or the dancing feet of Coutinho, the Reds forward unit has been unforgiving so far this season.

The relationship and understanding between the two Brazilians has been pivotal.

Coutinho and Firmino have a knack of finding each other, their relationship and understanding combined with their individual ability is becoming a constant headache for opposing defensive units.

Klopp has generated a resilient culture at Merseyside, there appears to be a belief and respect among the playing group that was evidentially missing last season.

Liverpool’s win over Swansea showcased this, in the first half they appeared out of sorts but their ability to respond in the second-half was vital.

Liverpool’s 2:1 win over Swansea at Liberty Stadium temporarily puts Jürgen Klopp’s men into second position on the English Premier League table.

Heading into the half-time interval trailing Swansea, an enraged Klopp inspired a second-half comeback.

Speaking to LFC TV following the match, Klopp revealed his frustration towards the first-half performance by his men and highlighted the importance of winning.

“It’s important that you win even the not perfect games,” he said.

Goals to Firmino and Milner, cancelled out a first-half strike by Leroy Fer.

If Liverpool is to challenge for the title this season they must find a preferred partnership in central defence.

Nathanial Clyne has been impressive at right-back and Klopp’s masterstroke of playing James Milner at left-back is paying dividends so far.

Dejan Lovren looks to be the preferred centre-back for Klopp, but he appears to be undecided on whether Klavlan or Matip should partner the Croatian.

In seven Premier League fixtures, Liverpool gave conceded ten goals.

There is no doubt Klopp would be concerned by this number, he will need to rectify it if Liverpool are a chance to challenge this season.
