Test cricket is back for the second part of the summer with Pakistan touring for a three-match series against Australia with the first match at the Gabba in Brisbane with a start time on Thursday, December 15 at 2pm (AEDT) – 1pm (AEST).
Both sides are coming off losses in their last series, against South Africa for the Aussies and New Zealand for Pakistan so will be keen to turn things around here.
Australia have stuck with their youthful squad, including the three debutants from Adelaide once again, while Pakistan have a 16-man touring squad.

The only way to watch the match in Australia on TV is through the Nine Network. With international cricket being on the anti-siphoning list, it gives a free-to-air TV network the right to bid before pay TV, and as has been the case for some time, Nine will once again be the broadcaster.
Their coverage across Nine and Southern Cross Nine will begin an hour before the beginning of play, meaning it will start at 1pm (AEDT).
You may need to switch channels to NineGEM at some point during the match due to the presence of Nine News during this day-night Test. Check your local guides to understand how this might affect you.
To stream the match online, you’ll have to sign up for a 365 Pass from cricket.com.au. The pass costs $29.95 for a year and gives you access to Nine’s coverage for all of Australia’s home games.
A day pass can also be purchased for $5.99.
Don’t forget The Roar will have a live blog of each and every day from the summer of cricket as well as highlights throughout and after the match.
The Australia vs Pakistan Test series will be broadcast on radio by both ABC and Fairfax, as well as FM broadcaster Triple M with Kerry O’Keefe to lead the call team.
Both of these can be accessed through your local frequencies, or online through the Cricket Australia website or mobile app. Neither will be available through their own websites.
To listen to the radio stream online, you will need a free cricket ID from cricket.com.au.
