It’s been a week marred in controversy after Australia’s ball-tampering episode in Cape Town, but it’s time to turn the focus back to cricket, with the fourth Test against South Africa set to be played in Johannesburg. This is The Roar‘s guide to streaming the match online and watching it on TV.
The match is scheduled to start today, with play to start at 7pm (AEDT) on each day. Note, with daylight savings finishing on Sunday, Day 3, 4 and 5, should the match go that far will, begin at 6pm (AEST).
Outside of the Ashes, free-to-air broadcasters don’t cover series outside Australia. This is no exception and the only way to watch the fourth Test will be on Fox Sports.
To do that, you will need to have a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.
From there, the match will be broadcast on Channel 507 – also known as Fox Sports More – with coverage set to start at 6pm (AEDT) on Day 1 and 6:30pm (AEDT) on Day 2.
Once daylight savings begins, coverage will commence at 5:30pm (AEST) for Day 3, 4 and 5.
The fourth and final Test of the series, as with the first three, can be exclusively streamed on either of Foxtel’s dedicated streaming applications.
Foxtel Now will be the best option if you don’t already have a TV subscription, while the Foxtel App is better for those already with existing login details to Foxtel.
The app is free to use for those with who already have a pay TV subscription, while Foxtel Now starts from $39 per month.
Here at The Roar, we will also be covering the match with a live blog and highlights of all the action from all five days of the match.
