7:45pm: In what was probably the best match of the day, Perth Ground Zero round out day one of the Gfinity Elite Series with a thrilling 16-12 victory over Melbourne Avant.
Congratulations to Perth @GroundZeroOCE who take out the last match of the day 16 – 12 over Melbourne @AvantGaming.
With such a close back and forth, we can't wait to see what both these clubs bring next week as they face down new challengers. pic.twitter.com/0ahyPcA46n

5:55pm: And how about that? Not predicted to give the Chiefs much trouble at all in their first match, not only do the Sydney Roar triumph, but by a devastating scoreline of 16-2!
Up next, it’s Perth Ground Zero taking on Melbourne Avant in the final game of the day.
5:50pm: The Chiefs managed to stop the Roar’s streak at 11 consecutive wins, but it’s the Roar who take a commanding, and surprising, 13-2 lead at the half.
Mirage is considered to be a CT-side map, and it’ll be the Roar on that side once play resumes!
Not the start we were after but we lock in a round with a clutch from @bURNRUOk! Last round of half now, let's bring it back on T side! ????#WeAreSydney????pic.twitter.com/3WYOxu5iEX

4:30pm: Brisbane were able to stop a run of seven straight Melbourne wins, but the Order continue to dominate in the second half to take a commanding 14-11 lead as we enter the final five rounds.

4:20pm: Switch to the T-side, Melbourne Order starting to flex their muscle. They take the first five rounds convincingly to square the series at 10-10.
4:10pm: The Order were able to take some rounds back off the Deceptors, but it will be the Brisbane side taking a commanding 10-5 lead into half time as we switch sides.
Huge upset brewing in game one!

They take a surprise 7-3 lead after ten.
3:45pm: Melbourne got the hot start with two easy early round wins, but Brisbane have taken two of the last three to peg it back to 3-2 Order after five.
3:30pm: After much ado, it looks like we’re finally set to get underway! Analyst Kevin Zhu has rocked the boat a little by predicting a Brisbane victory against their heavily-fancied opponents.
