The inaugural women’s NRL premiership is here, with four teams set to do battle for a spot on grand final day. This is The Roar‘s guide to streaming every match of the season, as well as watching them on TV.

The four teams selected to participate in the first season are the St George Illawarra Dragons, Brisbane Broncos, New Zealand Warriors and Sydney Roosters.

They will play each other once over a three-week period, with the grand final set to be played before the NRL decider on Sunday, September 30.

There have been some rule changes to the competition, with the most glaring the reduction in game length from 80 to 60 minutes when compared to the men’s NRL competition.

How to watch matches on TV

The NRL Women’s competition will be broadcast on Fox Sports and the Nine Network during its first season, in the same way the men’s competition is.

To watch the coverage on Fox Sports, you will need a valid Foxtel TV subscription.
