Week one of the 2018 AFL finals concludes with a qualifying final clash between the West Coast Eagles and Collingwood Magpies. This is The Roar‘s guide to streaming the match online and watching it on TV.
The match will commence at 8:10pm (AEST), and will be played at Perth’s Optus Stadium.
West Coast, tipped by many to slide out of the eight, enjoyed an unexpectedly strong campaign to finish the year in second. They come up against fellow surprise packets Collingwood, who have rebounded from years of disappointment to finish third.
There are two ways to watch this match live on television.
The first is Fox Footy, who’s post-match coverage of the preceding Swans-Giants match will blend into their pre-game coverage for this game.
They’ll have the opening bounce from 8:10pm (AEST).
To watch Fox Footy, you need a valid Foxtel TV subscription, with the sports pack.
Channel 7 is the free-to-air option for this match. In regions where the match is on the actual Seven network proper, you will be able to watch it in HD through Seven HD (71).
However, the game will be shown on 7Mate (73) in some areas. Refer to your local listings for full details.
If you want to stream the match, there are multiple options available to you.
If you’re already subscribed to Foxtel, the best option is to use the Foxtel App, which is included already as part of your TV suvscription.
If you’re not subscribed, you can subscribe to Foxtel Now – a streaming only variant of the pay TV service.
An AFL live pass will also let you stream the match and, if you’re a Telstra customer, you may be eligible to receive one for free.
