The best player in the NRL will be crowned on Wednesday, September 26, with the Dally M Medal ceremony taking place at Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal. This is The Roar‘s guide to streaming the event online and watching it on TV.

Scheduled to get underway at 8:30pm (AEST), the ceremony will be preceded by the red carpet for the players and their partners to arrive at the event.

Following this, we will have all of the season awards, including team of the year, coach of the year, rookie of the year and women’s player of the year among others.

The headline of the night will come from the Dally M Medal count though. It went behind closed doors at the end of Round 12, and so round-by-round, the final nine rounds will be done on the night to reveal who wins the award for 2018.

Cameron Smith is the defending champion, after taking it out in 2017.

How to watch the Dally M Medal on TV

The event will be broadcast live on Fox Sports, through their dedicated rugby league channel, Fox League. It can be found on Channel 502.

To watch the coverage, you will need to have a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.
