The Wallabies are in desperate search of their second Rugby Championship win when they tackle South Africa in Port Elizabth. This is The Roar‘s guide to live streaming the match online and watching it on TV.

The penultimate game of Australia’s 2018 Rugby Championship campaign will kick-off at 1:05am (AEST) on Sunday, September 30.

Despite earning a 23-18 victory when these sides clashed in Brisbane, the 2018 Test season went from bad to worse for Australia in their last clash – a shock 23-19 loss to Argentina on home soil.

With the blowtorch firmly at Michael Cheika’s feet, the Wallabies simply must rebound and rebound emphatically if they’re to turn around the tidal wave of negativity that’s swelled since the Pumas loss.

Their task isn’t an easy one, however. Despite losing to the Aussies only recently, the Springboks will start this Test as favourites – and just because of the home ground advantage.

Rassie Erasmus’ side broke a lengthy hoodoo in Wellington a fortnight ago, with a memorable 36-34 upset of the All Blacks at the ‘Cake Tin’. South Africa have been an extremely unpredictable side of late, but beating New Zealand on their own deck is an almighty achievement they’ll be keen to back up.

How to watch the match on TV

You’ll have two options if you want to watch the Test match on television.

Fox Sports (503) is one such option, with their coverage commencing at 12:45am (AEST) – immediately after a replay of that night’s Canberra Vikings vs Melbourne Rising NRC clash.

The match itself will commence at 1:05am, with coverage scheduled to carry right on through until just after 3am. If those timeslots make your eyes water, you can catch a replay of the game from 1:30pm (AEST) on Sunday afternoon.

To watch any of Fox Sports 503’s coverage, you will need a valid Foxtel TV subscription with the sports package.

Free-to-air viewers will have the option of tuning into Channel Ten’s coverage, which also commences at 12:45am. They, however, do not have any replays of the match scheduled. Check your local listings to clarify whether the game will appear on Ten, One or 11 in your area.

How to live stream the match online

For those who’d rather stream the game online, you’ll also have two options.

Existing Foxtel subscribers can simply use the Foxtel App, which is already included in your Foxtel subscription.

If you’re not subscribed and would like to view Fox Sports’ coverage, but don’t want a full TV installation, you can subscribe to Foxtel Now, which is a streaming-only variant of the pay-TV service.

Channel Ten’s free streaming application, TenPlay, will also have live coverage of the match.

The Roar will, as always, have the action covered live with a dedicated blog, as well as highlights, analysis and talking points from the match.
