Pakistan vs Australia first Test start time: Date, venue, squads, broadcast information

Australia will embark on their first Test tour since the ball-tampering scandal six months ago as they travel to the United Arab Emirates to play Pakistan. The first Test is set down for the Dubai International Stadium, with the first ball at 5pm (AEDT) on Sunday, October 7.

Should the match require all five days, it will end on Thursday, October 11, with play set to run until midnight (AEST) on each of the match days, broken up into three sessions of two hours.

The Aussies will be under the leadership of Tim Paine, however, will be without suspended trio David Warner, Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft, while Josh Hazlewood and Patrick Cummins also join them on the sidelines with injury.
