In a match which is fast becoming tradition, the Big Bash League will return to Adelaide on New Year’s Eve as the Adelaide Strikers host the Sydney Thunder. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online and watching it on TV.

The first ball of the match is scheduled for 7:15pm (AEDT) on Monday, December 31 at the Adelaide Oval in South Australia.

The Strikers have now held five BBL matches on New Year’s Eve with this set to be the sixth. To date, they are yet to lose, beating the Sydney Sixers twice, as well as the Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes and Brisbane Heat last year.

This will be the first time the Thunder have played on New Year’s Eve in Adelaide.

How to watch the matches on TV

Every single game of the eighth Big Bash League season will be available through Fox Sports, on their 24/7 cricket channel, known as Fox Cricket. This can be found on Channel 501 through Foxtel.

However, to watch the coverage on Fox Cricket, you will need to have a valid Foxtel TV subscription complete withthe sports package.

This game will also be available on the Seven Network.

How to live stream the matches online

If you are looking to stream the action from the BBL, you will need to do so through one of the methods available to access Fox Cricket.

The first of those is through Kayo Sports, which allows you to stream all of Foxtel’s sports channels for $25 per month.

Otherwise, you are able to use the Foxtel App or Foxtel Now.
