While Paul Gallen and John Hopoate are the headline act of the charity boxing event at Star of the Ring in 2019, the undercard will feature former rugby league great Justin Hodges make his professional debut.

Starting at 7pm (AEDT), there will be a massive nine fights on the undercard to keep spectators and viewers alike entertained, with son of boxing great and former multiple-time world champion Kosta Tszyu’s son Tim Tszyu also fighting in the last fight before Gallen and Hopoate.

Tszyu, who is trying to make a name for himself in the ring, and a match against Englishman Denton Vessell is being touted as the toughest of his career so far.

Hodges will take on Rob Baron in the opening fight of the night, while all but four on the card are Australian registered or born.
