The second spot in the Big Bash League final will be decided when the Melbourne Renegades host the Sydney Sixers at Marvel Stadium. This is The Roar’s guide to streaming the match online or watching it on TV.

The second of the semi-finals will get underway at 7:40pm (AEDT) on Friday, February 15.

It was looking for all money like this game was going to be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The two teams finished the regular season in second and third place on the ladder with equal points, but on Sunday, in the final match, the Sydney Sixers were thumped by a desperate Melbourne Stars outfit.

The loss means the net rune rate situation flipped around and the Renegades ended up taking second spot and the crucial home final, although, the match will now be played at a ground with a roof, so even if there is weather, we are still certain to get a result.

How to watch the second semi-final on TV

To watch the match on TV, you will have two options available to do so.

The first of those is through Fox Sports, who have provided coverage of every BBL match during the regular season. Their coverage will be on Fox Cricket, found at Channel 501 on Foxtel.

To watch the Fox Cricket coverage from 7pm (AEDT), you will need to have access to a valid Foxtel TV subscription, which must also include the sports package of channels.

The other method to watch the second BBL semi-final will be on Channel 7, who are a free to air TV broadcaster. Their coverage will start at 7:15pm (AEDT) and be available on Channel 70 in high definition or 71 in standard definition.

We suggest checking local guides though, as the match may be relegated to the secondary channel, 7Mate, while the news is on in some states.

How to live stream the second semi-final online

The second BBL semi-final will be streamed online through the coverage provided on Fox Cricket. Unfortunately, there is no way to stream the Channel 7 coverage for free under the current broadcast and digital rights deal with Cricket Australia.

The best way to stream the Fox Cricket coverage will be through Kayo Sports, who allow you to stream all of Foxtel’s sports channels for $25 per month.

The other ways to stream the coverage will be through the Foxtel App and Foxtel Now.

These are the dedicated streaming applications for Foxtel. If you already have a TV subscription, then use the App as it’ll be free with valid login details, otherwise, sign up to Now.
