The Australian cricket team will have their final hit-out before the Cricket World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, when they take on Pakistan in a crucial five-match series. This is The Roar’s guide to streaming all the matches online, and watching them on TV.
The first match of the series is scheduled to be played on Friday, March 22 in Sharjah. Matches will then continue on Sunday, March 24, Wednesday, March 27, Friday, March 29 and Sunday, March 31.
All five matches are scheduled to begin at 10pm (AEDT), with the first two to be played in Sharjah, the third in Abu Dhabi, and the series finishing in Dubai.
The series, as with most Australian overseas cricket tours, will be available exclusively on Fox Sports.
All five matches will feature a short pre-game show, with coverage scheduled to start at 9:30pm (AEDT) on Channel 501, known as Fox Cricket.
To watch the coverage through Fox Sports in Australia, you will need to have access to a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.
If you would prefer to stream the Australian tour of Pakistan online, rather than watching it on TV (and let’s be honest, late at night, a mobile device might be the way to go), there are a couple of methods for you to do so.
The best of those is to sign up for Kayo Sports, which is a new service having the rights to all Foxtel sports channels and some other selected events from Australia and around the world. This costs $25 per month.
The other methods will be to use the coverage provided on Foxtel’s dedicated streaming applications, being either the Foxtel App or Foxtel Now.
If you already have a TV subscription, the Foxtel app will be the way to go, otherwise select Now.
