The Canterbury Bulldogs will be out to reverse their poor start to the new NRL season when they take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs in a traditional Good Friday NRL clash. This is The Roar’s guide to streaming the action online, or watching it on TV.

Kick-off in the match is scheduled for 4:05pm (AEDT) on Friday, April 19, with the blockbuster clash to be played at ANZ Stadium in Homebush.

How to watch the match on TV

There will be two ways to watch the match on TV in Australia, with Channel Nine taking on an extra match this weekend due to the public holiday.

They will be the free to air broadcasters of the match, with coverage beginning at 3:30pm (AEDT).

Fox Sports will also broadcast the match, as they do for every game during the season. Their coverage is also scheduled to start at 3:30pm (AEDT). To watch the match, you will need to have a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.

How to live stream the match online

If you would prefer to stream the match online, there will be plenty of ways to do this.

The best of those options is to tune in through Kayo Sports, which have the rights to all Foxtel sports channels from $25 per month, as well as other selected events.

The other ways to watch the Foxtel coverage will be through Foxtel Now or the Foxtel App. If you already have a TV subscription, use the App, otherwise, go with Now. Again, you must have the sports package to stream the match on Foxtel.

Channel 9 will also stream their coverage through 9Now, which is free to use, provided you have a valid email.

You can also use the NRL Digital Pass to watch the match.

If you’re looking to tune in from overseas, you’ll be able to use Watch NRL.
