Rapper Drake and Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green have clashed in a heated verbal exchange courtside after the Toronto Raptors took out Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
After going down in the series opener by nine, Steph Curry was seen walking over to an irate Green who was caught in an argument with the Raptors Global Ambassador, a superfan that’s been in the headlines recently for his antics on the side of the court.
Drake looked to mouth off “nice try” at the still fuming Green on his way back to the dressing rooms, although some have speculated he could have been calling Green and the Warriors trash.
Drake had already gotten under the skin of Curry after turning up to the arena with a signed No. 30 Dell Curry jersey, starting mind games and trolling with the Warriors dual-MVP winner.
How the argument began is still up in the air, but you can bet the incident will only fuel the fire going into Game 2 of the series, a home game for the Warriors.
