Sunday night was hailed as one of the all-time greatest nights in sporting history, with all-time classics in the Cricket World Cup and Wimbledon finals capping off an already superb weekend.

So, it’s time for Episode 27 of Game of Codes to break down another action-packed weekend.

First up, we tackle the incredible Cricket World Cup final with Roar cricket expert Glenn Mitchell.

Apart from analysing the match itself, we tackle the most controversial moments too, including whether the umpires got it right on the controversial final-over six as well as whether a boundary countback is the right way to decide the World Cup.

That wasn’t all for the World Cup discussion, with the player of the tournament, most surprising and disappointing teams and whether the format worked overall.

Then, we flicked over to the Australian angle – who put their hands up for Ashes selection and who shrunk in the spotlight?

Next up, we flick over to the NRL with Roar rugby league expert Ryan O’Connell and separate the contenders from the pretenders.

Finally, it’s AFL time with Roar expert Marnie Cohen where we make the call on whether Rhyce Shaw and David Teague should be given the full-time gig at their respective clubs.
