This year’s finals race has been one for the ages, with the scenario changing wildly from week to week.

With just two weeks to go in the home-and-away season, however, it’s crunch time and those puzzle pieces need to fall into place very soon.

Adelaide’s clash with Collingwood, North Melbourne’s bout with Port Adelaide, Fremantle’s match with Essendon and the Bulldogs’ trip to GWS all have huge permutations for the top eight picture this weekend, making this round the biggest of the season by far.

Who’ll be inching closer to finals once it’s done? Who’ll have a line put through their name?

We were joined in studio by Roar AFL expert and editor Stirling Coates to give each match a lookover and work out who’ll still be alive once the dust settles.

Those four intriguing clashes round out what might just be one of the hardest rounds to tip all season. In addition to the aforementioned fixtures – all of which could go either way – Melbourne’s Friday night battle with Sydney, Carlton’s meeting with St Kilda and the two all-top four affairs all look hard to split too.
