AFL state grand final day has arrived, with the Victorian decider to see the Richmond Tigers and Williamstown Seagulls fighting it out for the right to be crowned 2019 VFL champions. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online, or watching it on TV.

The first bounce in the match is scheduled for 2:15pm (AEST) on Sunday, September 22, with it to be played at Ikon Park, home of the Carlton footy club in Melbourne.

The match will commence following the earlier VFLW grand final between the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood Magpies, which gets underway at 11:35am (AEST).

Richmond made their way into the grand final with a preliminary final victory over Port Melbourne last week, while Williamstown beat the Bombers by 26 points.

How to watch the match on TV

If you live in Victoria, then you’ll be able to watch the VFL grand final on TV as the Tigers and Seagulls do battle.

Channel 7, who cover one VFL game per week, will have live coverage of the match from 2pm (AEST), or at the conclusion of the earlier VFLW decider.

You can find Channel 7 at Channel 70 in high definition, 71 in standard definition, and 107 if watching through a Foxtel service.

As Foxtel don’t cover the VFL, if you’re watching outside of Victoria, you won’t be able to watch the match on TV.

How to live stream the match online

You’ll simply need to use the 7Plus website or application, which will take the Channel 7 broadcast. This is free to use, although will need you to sign up with a valid email address.

If you’re outside of Victoria, then you should be able to live stream the match online through VFL Live.

This information is unable to be confirmed at this time by The Roar, however, the service covered last year’s grand final and has had up to two games per week this season.
