Our special chat with NBL superstar Casper Ware

With the Sydney Kings absolutely soaring in the NBL, we had the opportunity to speak with superstar player Casper Ware – thanks to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The 29-year-old California native played college ball at Long Beach State and had a brief stint with the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA. He’s played in a number of international leagues, but made his name in Australia after spending three seasons with Melbourne United, before joining the Kings this year following a stint in Poland.

Listen to the discussion in the player above.

The point guard fancies himself in Call of Duty, so we talked to him about that a bit first, before jumping into some talking points on the NBL.

We discussed Sydney’s 4-0 start to the season, before asking how they’ll try to overcome the injury to Kevin Lisch that’s set to keep him out for two months.

We also talked to him about LaMelo Ball and RJ Hampton – top-tier NBA draft talent – playing in the NBL instead of college and whether he would’ve done the same if he’d had the chance.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC tomorrow.
