Cameron Munster blew the Rabbitohs off the park, Latrell Mitchell looked very good for Souths in his fourth game at fullback, and errors cost South Sydney a win in Melbourne last night.

Ryan Papenhuyzen and Cameron Munster were definitely the Storm’s best players against an error-prone South Sydney side that looked good at stages.

Papenhuyzen made 209 running metres and scored one try with five-eighth Cameron Munster setting up one try, running for 164 metres, breaking five tackles and making one line break.

Tino Faasuamaleaui played 27 minutes for the Storm and managed 133 running metres and two tackle breaks.

Debutant Chris Lewis, who is aged 27, played five minutes for 40 metres.

Cameron Smith made one hell of a try-saving tackle on Dane Gagai in the corner.

Latrell Mitchell looked a lot better, managing one try assist, 136 running metres and ten tackle breaks. But unfortunately he made an error and it could’ve been more but a few captain’s challenges went the Rabbitohs’ way.

Campbell Graham has been very consistent this season and this game was no different with the winger currently playing centre for James Roberts. He made 168 running metres, broke five tackles, made one line break and made one error.

South Sydney have the Titans next week on a Saturday afternoon and after having won one game from the opening four rounds, Souths will need to get the win against the Titans to get some confidence and start building a win streak.

The Melbourne Storm have the Knights on Saturday. After the Souths game, they take on Kalyn Ponga’s side, who are currently undefeated but that could change as they take on the Raiders in Round 4.

Once Cody Walker returns, that will also boost Souths’ attack because the inexperienced Troy Dargan just wasn’t getting the job done.

In the future, Dargan will be a good player. But at the moment, they need a player that can really spruce up the attack.

And with James Roberts also returning for the Titans match, then South Sydney will be back on track.
