Two of the best Aussie boxers in the business go head-to-head as Jeff Horn tackles Tim Tszyu in the super welterweight title at Townsville’s Queensland Country Bank Stadium.

Here is The Roar’s guide to watching the fight on TV, or getting on a Horn vs Tszyu live stream.

The main event is scheduled to get underway at 9:30pm (AEST), with an undercard of eight fights getting underway beforehand at 6pm.

Horn (20-2-1) will look to win consecutive bouts for the first time since 2017, while Tszyu (15-0) will look to keep his unbeaten streak alive.

How to watch Horn vs Tszyu on TV

Like most boxing events, your only option to watch this fight on TV is through pay-per-view service Main Event. They’ll have coverage from 7pm (AEST), beginning with Ben Horn vs Patrick Clarke – the fourth fight on the undercard – and continuing with every fight right up until the headline act. You’ll need to fork out $59.95 to watch the service – on top of your existing valid Foxtel subscription – but this will give you access to replays of the fight, beginning at 1am on Thursday morning and running every six hours afterward.

You can watch the first three fights of the undercard on Fox Sports 503 – which, again, required a Foxtel subscription – with their coverage beginning from 6pm but ending as soon as Main Event takes over. You will not be able to watch the main Horn vs Tszyu fight on Fox Sports 3.

For the first time, Main Event will now be available on Kayo Sports, giving Aussie boxing fans the opportunity to legitimately live stream a fight for the first time in yonks.

As it’s still a pay-per-view event, you’ll still need to pay the $59.95 fee via Main Event, but this option gives you the flexibility to watch the fight on whatever device you get Kayo through. Additionally, this option allows you to watch on-demand replays until just before midnight on Sunday, September 6.

Fox Sports 503’s coverage of the undercard will also be available to live stream through either Foxtel GO – which is included in your existing Foxtel subscription – or through Foxtel Now, which is a streaming-only variant of Foxtel you can subscribe to independently.

If none of these options work for you, don’t forget The Roar will keep you updated with a live blog of the fight, as well as video highlights and talking points.
