Polarising ex-NRL star Paul Gallen steps into the ring once more against former UFC fighter Mark Hunt in a heavyweight bout at Sydney’s Bankwest Stadium.

This is The Roar’s guide to watching the fight on TV, or catching a Gallen vs Hunt live stream.

The main card of fights begins at 7pm (AEDT). Gallen vs Hunt is the co-main event, meaning it will most likely begin sometime between 8:30pm and 9pm.

There’s not much at stake in terms of titles for either fighter, although Gallen is looking to cause the upset and continue an impressive start to his boxing career.

How to watch Gallen vs Hunt on TV

The only way to watch this fight on TV is through pay-per-view service Main Event – like most boxing events. Their coverage is of the full main card, beginning at 7pm (AEDT), which means there’ll be three fights to get through before Hunt vs Gallen. You’ll need to have a valid Foxtel subscription already, with this fight costing $59.95 to watch (although this also entitles you to view Tim Tszyu vs Bowyn Morgan).

The three undercard fights can be viewed on Fox Sports 503 from 5:30pm (AEDT), but you will not be able to watch any fights from the main card on TV unless you’ve paid for the Main Event view.

Luckily, Main Event is now viewable through Kayo Sports – and you don’t even need to be a Kayo subscriber to tune in.

It is still a pay-per-view event, so you’ll still need to pay the same $59.95 price to watch it, but this means you’ll be able to watch the fight on any device Kayo is available on. Purchasing the fight through Kayo also gives you access to on-demand replays.

If you want to stream the undercard fights, you can do so through Foxtel GO – if you’re already a Foxtel subscriber – or through Foxtel Now if you’re not.

As always, The Roar will keep you updated with a live blog of the fight, as well as video highlights and talking points.
