Two meetings to look on Tuesday, with Tabcorp Park Menangle and Albion Park the focus. Down below is best bets for the respective programs.

Tabcorp Park Menangle
Best Bet: Race Two Number 5 Tough Love

Likely to go around short odds given he has strong race day form, but provided he does everything right, he has panels on these. T

wo career outings have come in Victoria in a couple of strong races, that has seen him place each run. The rest of the field, I’d say they aren’t much good, so he just has to run up to his race day form to be winning.

Next Best: Race Six Number 3 Shadow Minister
Former Kiwi who I am confident can make it 2/2 in Australia. The debut down under came over the 2550m at Newcastle, which isn’t an easy assignment first up, but he led throughout and was dominant.

Back to the mile I find interesting but he does have the McCarthy polish and got more upside.

Value: Race Eight Number 2 Gentle Giant
This is a place bet because Stun Gun should lead and win. I am hoping Tiarn Sutton can hold the back of the hot pot, a spot that saw this Kiwi bred run a game fourth here two back.

Forget last start where he galloped out and that sealed his fate. If he can hold leaders back, he’s a good chance to run a place.

Albion Park
Best Bet: Race Three Number 11 Manila Playboy

Smart three year old that should win again. Overcame a second row draw to spank them when resuming here last Tuesday. Dare say he has eyes on the upcoming Winter Carnival so I’ll be keen to see how he goes here, whether he can keep his winning ways, and I’m confident he can.

Next Best: Race Four Number 1 Talent To Spare
She’s well named against this bunch because she should be winning with plenty left in the tank. Quality filly that should make it three on the bounce. Freshened up with around six weeks between runs. Tick over trial saw her beat Manila Playboy, which clearly is a good pointer for a race like this.

Value: Race Five Number 8 Don Heston
Bit of a 1×3 speck at odds. Banking on Vanish Hanover holding the inside position and the lead. From there, I think Don Heston can get leaders back and be a threat at a massive price.

Been plagued by ordinary draws in three runs back from a spell, but with a good trailing draw here, he’ll run a much improved race.
