Cameron Munster has won the man of the match award for Queensland after their 16-10 win in State of Origin 1 in Sydney.
Munster was immense during the game and pulled off a number of heroic acts to keep the Blues at bay.
He was also a key threat in attack and always looked like breaking through the Blues line which he did a number of times.
“That will go down as one of the hardest games I’ve ever played,” Munster said.
“That’s the great thing about Origin, how fast the game is.”
The Melbourne Storm star who spoke candidly last year about his struggles with alcohol and almost losing his Storm contract showed just how valuable he is to Queensland.
Munster had 191 run metres and picked up a whopping 82 fantasy points during the game.
