The new NRL season is upon us and all the deals for the pre-season have been done.

Roosters captain James Tedesco has signed a contract extension that will see him remain at the club until the end of 2025.
That will be his 14th season in the NRL, with many excepting the then 33-year-old to hang up the boots, making way for Joesph Suaali’i to takeover as fullback.
The Eels have released Nathan Brown from the remainder of his contract effective immediately. The 109-game lock forward will join Tedesco at Bondi on a one-year contract.
The Dragons have extended the contracts of 19-year-old twins Toby and Ryan Couchman through to the end of the 2025 season. Toby made his NRL debut against the Titans in Round 2, and Ryan will join him in the club’s top 30 list in 2024.
On the last day before the new season started, local products Victor Radley and Egan Butcher committed their futures to the Sydney Roosters on the back of the club signing Knights rising star Dominic Young and being on the verge of snaring Panthers prop Spencer Leniu.
Radley, who made his senior debut with the club in 2017 and has gone on to represent England at an international level, has penned a four-year extension to keep him with the Roosters until the end of the 2027 season.
“I can’t imagine myself playing anywhere else, so I’m happy to have my long-term future sorted here at the Roosters,” Radley, 24, said.
Butcher, who has played 27 NRL games since he first suited up at senior level for the Roosters in 2021, committed his future to the club until the end of 2025.

“The Roosters mean a lot to me and I’m stoked that I’ll continue to be part of the team we have here,” the 22-year-old said.
The Roosters made waves last week when they Young to the club next year after weighing in with a lucrative deal for the rising star.
Gold Coast and the Dolphins were also in the hunt for the 21-year-old speedster. But the Roosters, after coach Trent Robinson recently met with the young gun, have convinced him to head to Sydney’s east to join a star-studded backline which already contains James Tedesco, Daniel Tupou, Joey Manu and Joseph Suaali’i.

He could be heading south a year early with speculation mounting that the Knights could grant a release if the Roosters agree to trade a back-rower like Nat Butcher.
It’s a bitter blow for the Knights after they brought Young to Australia a couple of years ago and he had a breakout season in 2022 with 14 tries in 20 NRL appearances as well as nine four-pointers for England at the World Cup.
The Roosters are yet to announce Leniu’s acquisition but the Panthers have announced he is leaving the club at the end of the season.
Cronulla have extended the contract of Jesse Ramien for a further three years, locking the centre in until the end of 2026.
The 25 year old made his debut with Cronulla in 2017, and after one season with the Knights in 2019, he returned to the Shire in 2020.
The Dolphins have snared another Bronco for 2024, signing forward Thomas Flegler on a four year deal. It comes just days after the new franchise announced the signing of Herbie Farnworth who will see out this season with the Broncos before linking with their Redcliffe rivals on a three-year deal.
The Broncos have sacked forward TC Robati following his recent off-field behaviour.
Brisbane finalised their 2023 roster ahead of the opening round, with Robati noticeably left off the list.
The troubled 21-year old was allegedly caught by police driving without a licence on Australia Day and is due to face court on March 2. He still has another case to answer for after being charged with sexual assault following an alleged incident involving a woman at a Brisbane venue on December 21.
The club have also re-signed two key members of their squad, announcing veteran forward Corey Jensen and utility Cory Paix have agree to contract extensions until the end of 2025.
Team by team, here’s how each club’s roster is shaping up. PO denotes player option, CO club option and MO mutual option.
