The Matilda scored the first two of her team's goals in the 4-0 win.
After eleven games, Leicester City sit in third place on the EPL ladder with 23 points. This leaves them only two points behind defending champions Manchester City.
Could this be another season where Leicester achieve the impossible?
Leicester are in frightening form and have won seven games. This includes an impressive 5-0 win over Newcastle and an historic 9-0 win away at Southampton.
Jamie Vardy is back to his 2015-16 premiership-winning form, sitting atop of the league goal-scoring charts with ten goals. Vardy’s inspired form has added to the already fiery aura at the club – an aura which has put the rest of the league on notice.
Ricardo Pereira is currently the best performing right back in the league. He is averaging an incredible match rating of 7.59.
Wilfred Ndidi has burst into stardom this season, boasting an 83.7 per cent pass rating to go along with his fourth-ranked league match rating of 7.62.
Ndidi is a bright star whose football defies that of the traditional central defender. James Maddison has drawn comparisons to David Beckham and is the object of England’s biggest club’s affection.
Maddison also has an average match rating of 7.62 this season and has already won himself three MOTM awards, to go with his three goals and two assists.
Years of re-building alongside the acquisition of the right new talent and what many believe to be the right manager in Brendan Rogers, has allowed Leicester City to play with a fluidity that is scarily familiar.
In the 2015-16 season Leicester shocked the world, winning the EPL ten points clear of second place. This was on the back of a season which saw the Foxes fight off regulation with a miracle last few games.
Even if Leicester were to secure Champions League football for next year, this season would be viewed a success. However, Leicester have done it before and they can do it again.
