NBA’s global stars usher in new era as LeBron, Steph, KD fade into the background

The NBL Final Series has been one one of excitement and controversy thus far. Friday night’s do or die final game promises more of the same as the Tigers face the Dragons at Hisense Arena.
Game three saw Tigers big man Chris Anstey outed and left to face the tribunal, followed by public criticism from club officials that ultimately cost them dearly.
However, Anstey was cleared to play out the series with a suspended sentence and the scene was set for game four.
The Tigers put the controversy behind them and came out firing, taking the game in style,
Anstey providing much of the scoring and rebounding with a 23 point first half. He finished with a game high 31 points.
Although far from a one man team, the Tigers do appear to feed off Anstey’s form and if he fires, back to back flags could be the order of the day.
Of course, Brian Goorjian has stated in no uncertain terms how much this flag would mean to him, so the Dragons will certainly not give the Tigers an easy run.
Basketball Australia would surely be pleased with the series going to five games given the turmoil the league has faced this season, despite the controversy involved.
There’s been no shortage of entertainment value for punters and the final game in the series should see a capacity crowd flock to Hisense to watch these two giants slug it out in what could yet be the most physical game witnessed for some time.
So the question now is can the Tiger’s big man recreate his game four form and take the Tigers to another flag or will the home court advantage and fanatical fans be enough to carry the Dragons across the line to a fairytale victory?
