NRL Round 12 Teams: Bellamy optimistic on Munster, Warriors' woes worsen, Broncos duo in doubt
The Tigers have been slammed by the Match Review Panel with both Justin Olam and Brent Naden set to be banned following their sin…
The Melbourne Storm cap saga is going to change the way rugby league will be. The NRL could turn Australian Test superstars away from the NRL and into the big money hands of the English Super League.
The NRL should take some responsibility for the fiasco at the Storm. The amount of money to be successful in a non-traditional state is always going to be higher. In the AFL, the salary caps of Brisbane and Sydney are higher than other teams as they are trying to create a niche in their respective markets.
The cap is the minor issue.
The main one is that the NRL doesn’t give enough support to the game in Victoria. The NRL has television deals with Channel 9 and Foxtel, but if you want to watch the game on TV, well, you have to stay up until the early hours of the morning.
In a non-traditional state, there has to be success for the sport to succeed. But a lot of traditionalists in NSW hated the fact that the Storm was winning. You should call the NRL the ‘eastern seaboard league’.
Now Super League clubs are going to chase all these players and who is going to stop them? David Gallop? All he does he react instead of taking the initiative and taking the NRL forward

Harry Grant clearly isn't too concerned for his Storm and Maroons teammate!
Eels prop Joe Ofahengaue was driven ten metres across the pitch and dumped over the sideline as Melbourne stamped a thumping 48-16 win.
The Eels couldn't even win a surefire Captain's Challenge against the Storm in a horror show.
Did Harry Grant - and Fox League's Michael Ennis - have a point?
Munster was ruled out of the remained of the game with the Channel Nine pundits immediately casting their attention to the upcoming Origin series.
