Dave Taylor will be out State of Origin III after pleading guilty to the charge of a dangerous throw. Taylor will contest the grading of the charge, but will cop between two and five weeks on the sidelines.
The suspension will force Queensland coach Mal Meninga to make a change to his Origin decider squad, to be announced today.
The South Sydney Rabbitohs released the following statement: “The South Sydney Rabbitohs and second rower David Taylor will plead guilty but challenge the grading of a dangerous throw charge received from a tackle made during last Friday’s victory over the Brisbane Broncos.
