The 2023 Trade Period enters its second week, and time is running out for teams to complete the trades they want before Wednesday night’s deadline. Join The Roar for a live blog and rolling coverage of the day’s news, rumours and action from 9am (AEDT).

Hawthorn trading Tyler Brockman to West Coast was the sole weekend move made, to continue the mid-week slowdown after a hectic start to the trade period.

Already 15 players have changed clubs this off-season, with Jade Gresham the final free agent before last Friday’s deadline, but several teams still have plenty to do over the next three days.

The Saints still need to land Liam Henry from Fremantle and Paddy Dow for Carlton, with both deals expected to get done; it also remains to be seen whether the stand-off between Port Adelaide and Geelong over Esava Ratugolea is resolved, and what impact that has on looming Power trades for Brandon Zerk-Thatcher and Jordon Sweet, and the future of Xavier Duursma at the club.
