Round 16 concludes with Port Adelaide heading to Perth desperate to keep their fading finals hopes alive against a powerful Fremantle that can move a game clear safe inside the top four. Join The Roar for live scores and rolling coverage from 5:20pm (AEST).

After a solid first quarter, the Dockers fell away dramatically during the second term against the Blues last week and they were not able to match the intensity to get back in the game.

The positive to come out of last week’s match was the quality of game had by midfield gems, Will Brodie and Andrew Brayshaw. They dominated the possession count for the Dockers and played a major hand in Fremantle’s ability to compete at the contest.

They will welcome back veterans, Michael Walters and Nathan Wilson as they look to solidify their position in the top four after Carlton lost to the Saints on Friday night. These two will provide some extra flexibility in the forward line and defensive lines, respectively.

Port Adelaide continue to make up for their disappointing start to the season as they took care of Gold Coast by two points last week, in their consistent effort to stay in touch with the finals.

Ollie Wines impressed with 26 disposals and seven clearances last week and Todd Marshall continued to impress in front of goal with four goals. Even though they lead from start to finish, they were pushed to the very end by a classy Gold Coast outfit.

This weekend is a big weekend for Travis Boak and Jeremy Finlayson as they look to regather themselves and lead from the front against a solid Fremantle side looking to rebound.
