Good Friday footy returns as the North Melbourne Kangaroos and Western Bulldogs face off at Marvel Stadium. Stay up to date with their AFL clash with live scores on The Roar from 4:20pm (AEDT).

The early fortnight went just about as badly as expected for North Melbourne, who’ve suffered back-to-back hammerings against Port Adelaide and Gold Coast. The Suns loss last week was particularly dispiriting and served as a stark reminder as to just how far off the pace the Kangaroos look to be this season – and it doesn’t get any easier tonight.

The Bulldogs are coming off a scintillating seven-point win over the Eagles last week in a game that will take some beating as match of the year. With two hard-fought wins against quality opposition, the Dogs will look to further press their claims as a premiership force by flexing their muscle over the wooden spoon favourites.

The Bulldogs enjoyed a comfortable 49-point win when these sides met last year and have won five of the last seven encounters. The Doggies have won three in a row at Docklands Stadium, whereas the Kangas have dropped four straight.
