Reigning premiers the Richmond Tigers host a struggling North Melbourne on the Gold Coast for a Saturday night game. Join The Roar for live scores from 7:40pm (AEST).

Richmond are reigning premiers, but they have not been in form for much of this season. Since the restart, the Tigers have won two games – over lowly ranked duo Melbourne and Sydney, the former in a controversially low-scoring encounter last weekend. While the Tigers do begin the round in the top eight, they look far from a top-four or even premiership threat at the moment.

Fortunately for the Tigers, North Melbourne look worse. Their form has been poor since their win over GWS in June, with four consecutive losses – including one last Saturday against Essendon – before today, positioning them 16th on the ladder heading into tonight’s clash.

In relation to the game’s Queensland locale, North Melbourne have been more frequent visitors to the Gabba yet have a worse record at the ground compared to their opponents.

Damien Hardwick’s side is unchanged headed into today’s clash. The Kangaroos have made three personnel changes, injured Paul Ahern and Tarryn Thomas among them. Aiden Bonar, Mason Wood and veteran Jack Ziebell return to the side.
