The AFL’s annual Pride Game will take place behind closed doors as the Sydney Swans take on the St Kilda Saints on Saturday night. Tune in right here on The Roar with live scores from 7:40pm (AEST).

The Swans are on the cusp of the top four and in sparkling form, having won their last five games in a row. If they can leapfrog Port Adelaide or Melbourne for that precious double chance, the sky is really the limit for the Young Bloods in 2021.

Things haven’t been nearly as rosy for the Saints, last week’s loss to Carlton just about putting the final nail in the coffin of what has been a disastrous year. Nevertheless, an upset win here would at least ask the question of the sides above them on the ladder, though follow-up clashes with Geelong and Fremantle will be mighty tough to win as well.

Injury has forced Brett Ratten to make a string of changes to the line-up, with key back Dougal Howard, running defender Hunter Clark and wingman Jack Billings all on the outer. A hamstring injury, and rumours of a trade come season’s end, mean Billings, the 2013 no.3 draft pick, may have played his final game as a Saint.
