Show Preview

It’s last-chance saloon time for Sydney and Gold Coast, with defeat at the SCG to almost certainly draw the curtain on their respective seasons. Join The Roar for live scores from 1:45pm (AEST).

Originally slated to begin at 2:10pm, the match was moved forward 25 minutes to prevent overlap with the later Matildas match, with the SCG to show the World Cup quarter-final clash with France on the big screen immediately after the footy concludes.

The Suns’ finals hopes are all but gone already, needing to win their last three games and have a swathe of other results go their way to sneak into the eight, but a second consecutive loss on the road would make things mathematically impossible.

The Swans, though, are just two premiership points outside the eight having won four games in a row, including a stirring Sydney Derby triumph over GWS last week. In excellent form, not even the return of Suns skipper Touk Miller should be enough to stop their late finals surge at home.
