Barry Hall posts training footage, fires back at Paul Gallen
Barry Hall has returned fire at Paul Gallen ahead of the much-hyped Battle of the Codes later this month.
Gallen has been critical of the former AFL star’s desire for two-minute rounds, telling Hall he should “man up” and cheekily nicknaming him “Noodles”, which if it isn’t obvious – and it really should be – is a reference to two-minute noodles.
Hall hit back in an Instagram post, saying, “Judging by Paul Gallen’s latest attempt [at] trash talk… I wouldn’t be surprised if his new book is written in crayon.”
The Sydney Swans premiership captain believes Gallen’s boxing reputation is overstated, as though he has won all of his nine fights, he has generally faced only inexperienced fighters, which Hall himself is as well, making his professional debut.
“I am a serious fighter and I am prepared. [Two minute] noodles might be the food for him after this fight!”
The bout will take place on November 15.
