I heard that Inverarity flies to Joburg for the 17th and selects the 2nd test side (from Peter Roebuck on 702) and HIldtich and Inverarity have a meeting to discuss the team in between – that would be extremely odd… but anyway…. here’s to hoping a better evening

mate – i still think ponting has a lot to offer. He’s proven that time and again. Hughes is really struggling and it’s getting frustrating that the selectors continue to select for the future consistenty. Read the article to see my views around Haddin. And Johnson, well I don’t think they’ll drop him in South Africa, especially as he bowled minimal overs. If he fails in the 2nd test then he could struggle to keep his spot I suppose.
