I’d go for that too but Izzy, as I’ve read in the media, has spurned any settlement thus far. It seems like an ‘untenable’ position of his creation.

BREAKING: Israel Folau takes legal action against Rugby Australia

As I recall, the ARU was in all sorts of strife when they tried that tactic for the first time last year, nickbrisbane

“Tell me, does hell exist? What does hell look like? Is it really underground? Is it really, really hot? Are there really lots of bad people there? Is hell as bad as people say it is? Where is it exactly? How big is hell?

Did you take any photos you can share with us. I’m fascinated that so many people seem to know so much about hell when I’m literally in the dark.

Please enlighten me.”

You should perhaps be asking the believers in a “hell” to “enlighten” you, sheek. To them it’s real enough. I don’t know whether they can take photos of it but I’m sure they’ll be able to describe such a place in some detail.

“It’s also conveniently forgotten that he told a whole bunch of other people besides homosexuals, they were going to hell. I probably qualified at one time or another for 3-4 subgroups.”

I can see why you couldn’t/wouldn’t take offence, sheek. You had choice not to join any one of the “3-4 subgroups” but still went ahead with it anyway. It’s a little different when you’re born with it though.

Easily fixed, sheek. The government of the day could cancel those religious based holidays so there are no more disruptions to work, school, club sports, etc. I am not advocating for it btw

Good one, J

It won’t happen, Paul.

“A fire that could build a Sydney rivalry, which could be the tonic for more supporters. Look WSW, and GWS Giants. They embrace the town rivalry. Remember, it’s not Western Sydney who’s your “old enemy”.”

But, don’t you have enough players and supporters to make up a Western Sydney team to compete against the eastern Suburbs Tahs?

'Almost insolvent' Rebels may be unable to afford Super Rugby final

I can’t afford to do that, AJ, as both teams have been rather pathetically and utterly hopeless this year. So,
. a disappointing Blues to be walloped by a whisker by the equally disappointing Reds;
. Landers by a country mile;
. Saders by plenty as they need to find their mojo sooner;
. Brumbies by plenty;
. Canes surely by a whisker;
. Harry Jones by plenty, and,
. Jaguares by plenty

Super Rugby Round 17: Nerves at the top

Not good to put too much pressure on the ‘Heart’, jez. I’m sure the head has it all over the ‘Heart’ this time around.

Super Rugby Round 17: Nerves at the top

True indeed, Allanthus.

However, it seems so long ago when all we could see were the headlights in the distance. And with Nobes dominating over the past 3 seasons that it’s not hard to accept Brett’s fake news that the front headlights belonged to the Noble one. Then again, I can’t even remember when the Blues or the Reds won a game this year

Super Rugby Round 17: Nerves at the top

Thanks CUW

Reds a sure thing then as Brendon Pickerill will bore us to death as da Blues struggle to understand his rulings. Seriously though, I suspect the 2 teams will bore us all to sleep at kick-off.

Super Rugby Round 17: Nerves at the top

Unlike you, Nobes, Brett doesn’t quite yet know how to put any (and I mean ANY) inside information to any good use or advantage. That’s how Expert he is at this tipping comp.

“I hope RA and the Rebels fold on the same day.”

Not if we’re going to end up being run by the ‘ARU’ again, Craigo

'Almost insolvent' Rebels may be unable to afford Super Rugby final

But there’s no way we would agree to a merger with NSW or Western Sydney; ever!

'Almost insolvent' Rebels may be unable to afford Super Rugby final

As a Brumbies supporter, I did think that this might have been a better option too instead of cutting the Force.

'Almost insolvent' Rebels may be unable to afford Super Rugby final

The story might have been a little different if all the Kiwis and Safas in Melbourne went to see the Rebels instead of trying to fit in with and seen to be part of the AFL mob, Jacko. Even worse, when they (Ben excluded) don’t even bother to go and see their Kiwi or Safa teams when they are in town.

'Almost insolvent' Rebels may be unable to afford Super Rugby final

I think Deegan should really try his hand at Mitre 10 if at all possible. He’ll know whether he’s up to the next level or not by the end of a single stint.

Future of Australia’s three best five-eighths up in the air

Thanks for that info on Nick Jooste, nutter. I hope he has recovered from his injuries

“we have lost our rugby intellect somewhere”

Sad but true

“Another thought-provoking and interesting column from you, Istanbul.”

Indeed and thanks, Istanbul. You certainly have knack for finding gems and bringing them to Roarers attention. I know very little to zilch about rugby in Russia and have been impressed with both their men and women’s teams in the 7s. Obviously, rugby is played there to a higher level than I’d have expected with still a way to go yet.

2027 may well be too soon but you never know once big (legitimate) sponsorship money is involved. It could open up another pathway for skilled players from these parts (who could not get a look in at the national level) going there to make rugby there a success. I’d love to see that happen.

Is Russia ready to host the Rugby World Cup?

“In the unlikely event that I get that right, remember you heard it here first!”

A sure thing then, N: we can neither acknowledge nor tell Nobody about it at all.

Got it, Brett? No acknowledgement (surely, DC can’t let it be) come Thursday, eh?

Super Rugby Round 16: We’re catching Nobes!

Brilliant and agree with Ralph it’s a good call, indeed.

Just send them all via yours truly for an appropriate Rookie vetting and approval for publication

Super Rugby Round 16: We’re catching Nobes!

Blues, Rebs by a whisker, Bumblebies by plenty, Saders, Reds surely at home by a whisker, Canes and Team Marx by plenty

and the REDs/JAGs, KCOL?
