Rusted on Reds supporter living on the Gold Coast. Picture of my reaction to reds snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in recent years. Nooooo!

A bit like selecting Hodge and then not using his clearing kicks…

ANALYSIS: 'Kindergarten' lineout calls and the 'luxury' player Dave Rennie can't afford against Springboks

Yes thanks oz.

Sorry typo WITHOUT 😂

I think we’ll get steamrolled with Cooper and Kerevi providing go forward.

We will agree to disagree.
But I’m right 😂

AUS vs. ENG studs and duds: What's up with Tupou, Wallaby who 'doesn't give enough', should Nic White be captain?

We won tests last year by taking the points. Apparently Hooper has forgotten that lesson. ?

I’ll never forget Nick White losing us the Brisbane Bledisloe in 2014 by mindlessly kicking in the last minute. Poor decision making then. I don’t see much improvement.

By your logic no high level skill could ever happen because it is possible rather than probable. I reckon I could find a dozen examples of players doing similar successfully.

The Wrap: Yes, rugby needs fixing, but not for the reasons most people think

Of course it is possible to catch a ball with one hand.
The interpretation of this law has morphed from a deliberate knock down (a downward motion) to now being any unsuccessful intercept attempt.
Why should poor skill from the passer (that gave the opportunity for an intercept to take place) be rewarded with a yellow card?
Perhaps the middle ground is a downward movement of the hand is penalised as cynical. A failed intercept is merely a knock on.

At the game his line kicks into the corner from penalties seemed very poor. This probably links with the lack of lineout drive tries.

Wallabies DIY player ratings from the 2nd England Test: The Wright stuff and a tough night for JOC

Lol 😂

When rugby stopped being the game they played in heaven

Or we could keep an open mind on arguments made and actually reflect on their value, even if the author uses a phrase we don’t like.

When rugby stopped being the game they played in heaven

Yes I too love the game stopping for 5 minutes and looking at endless replays. Absolutely thrilling.

Interesting article. Thanks 👍

RUGBYCOLOGY: The Wallabies player rival teams target at the restart, and why he's a weakness

Just say no.
KB was never a stable dependable influence even in his prime.

'Competitive and stubborn' Kurtley sets TRC and World Cup goals, ready for No.15 battle with 'brilliant' Kellaway

Thanks Peter. Well written and argued.

'Work ethic, aggression and aerial battles': Using Dave Rennie's statements to predict his first Test team selection

Perception is all that matters in conflicts of interest. Others perceive there to be a conflict which is why neutral referees from another country are preferred.

'Did you guys see that?': McKellar fuming over Kiwi ref's missed call, says game is 'hard to follow' over card rules

Dare I say it but same thing, at the same location in the 2011 World Cup final. Referee cowardice on making the right call in the crucial final minutes got the Kiwis the win. It’s the non-calls that make it even more difficult to win in NZ.

Uru has been good.
I have liked Tom Hooper for the Brumbies too. Big body makes great post contact meters and tackles hard. Would be too confusing for the commentators though ????

What Rennie said about Suli plan, TT latest, Rodda shock, Hodge and McReight calls and Wallabies' 'point of difference'

He didn’t do everything right when he tried to take a quick tap inside the opposition 22 in the dying minutes a couple of weeks. Strongest lineout drive in Super Rugby and Lonergan and then Muirhead both have brain farts. Their lack of composure is very concerning.
Wright is also very mistake prone on the other wing. A highlight reel selection for me.

Not just you 😂

'The very definition of dangerous': How on earth did Matera escape red when Gilbert got five weeks?

It was bad at that game.
I had a group want to fight because they were asked not to put their legs up on the seats in front (where other people were sitting). They then refused to move their legs when others wanted to get past. I have never seen anyone do that at any sporting event before.

REACTION: 'Reckon we'll get an apology' - Battered by the ref, bettered by Barrett, Brumbies blow Blues battle

Sounds like you’re describing the All Blacks…
Maybe it’s just intelligent tactical play? Maybe they’re prepared to lose a player to a yc to prevent a try.
There’s lots of ways to play the game.

REACTION: 'Reckon we'll get an apology' - Battered by the ref, bettered by Barrett, Brumbies blow Blues battle

Easy to be gracious when your sides consistently get the rub of the green.
That being said they are very good commentators.

Harrison lost a little perspective tonight but in general I’ve found him to be knowledgeable and analytical. Let’s not get too critical for being human now and then.
