DMac emphatically wasnt the problem in Dunedin. It was Fozzies Shayne Philpott project, Finlay Christie whose service to his 10 was execrable. DMac lit the place up for the rest of the time he was on once Smith replaced the dud 9.

Super Rugby shows that the Bledisloe Cup isn't going anywhere - one selection could give the Wallabies hope

Chiefs fan. Thought that young fellas tries were some of the best Ive seen in a while. What a weekend! What marvellous matches, even the comedy show in my town Dunedin.

'Run-on debut like no other': Junior Wallabies flyer announces himself to the world after stunning hat-trick

Yes . Wasnt it refreshing? Showed what happens when you allow some rough house breakdown freedom. Both sides adjusted with gusto, possession was contested instead of endlessly penalised/carded and we got a game for the ages that people are still buzzing about. Kind of sad it wasnt a draw.

The Wrap: Rebels young gun rockets out of Wallabies contention, and why Samipeni Finau's 'brutal' hit on Edmed was fair game

Rockets “out of”? You mean “rockets into” surely? Your clumsy heading actually implies he failed spectacularly.

Sure…sure..

'Purely coincidental': Chiefs coach defends bruiser after ANOTHER late shot leaves Tah flattened - but was it legal?

When do you know a jet load of these Aus fans and commentators has landed? The engines have stopped but the whining hasnt.

'Purely coincidental': Chiefs coach defends bruiser after ANOTHER late shot leaves Tah flattened - but was it legal?

Yes. They are. 4 officials saw nothing illegal. Could the whining be symptomatic of where Rugby in Aus is at.

DC got whacked in a Bok test at Eden Park. The crowd went ohh but was in admiration of the quality even when the ref carded the act. Stop thw whingeing folks.

He got hammered this way in the Moana P game. Just bounced up and got on with it. STOP whining.

Because whiners ask them to.

DMac did get clobbered by a Moana P tackler three weeks ago exactly the same way …just bounced up and got on with it. Crowd in the Tron gasped then cheered the rib tickler. Move on whiners.

Eric Rush got roomed with him then and talked him out of switching to league.

George Nepia made his New Zealand debut 100 years ago, but was he really an All Black at just 16 years of age?

Tataria? I thought that was a sauce for crumbed fish?

“RTS played for years in Auckland and yet no one managed to talk to him about playing for the All Blacks until it was far too late.”

What are you on about? RTS was well and truly in the Rugby system as FB for the Blues U20 side when league flogged him. NZR WERE looking after him

Hansen's done Joey Manu no favours comparing him to SBW. He'll be more like RTS - and Foz is the reason why

FCs rotten service was the reasonDMac struggled in that Dunedin debacle. He only came right with the service from Nuggie when he came on. FC was Fosters Shayne Philpott RWC left field project player. It seems obligatory for the ABs to have one at each RWC.

The forgotten leader Razor must pick for the All Blacks - and why it could change who wears the prized No.10 jersey

Drummond? LoL Where did that come from? Probably better than FC but not a serious contender. Hotham ahead of him.

Never seemed to bother past Fijian sides.

'Too many simplistic errors': Australia's men and women lose HK Sevens semis to NZ as Olympic selection battle heats up

“Not least because, in the absence of Richie Mo’unga, Barrett looms as New Zealand’s most reliable first five-eighth.”

Lost me right there. Are there 2 Beauden Barretts because the inept erraticc BB we have endured in the last few yrs is the one most apparent? Who’s this reliable doppelganger you speak of?

Finlay C shouldnt be anywhere near a black jersey. DMac needs Ratima.

The two halves need to be picked with their 10s. So on the absence of Roigard, despute his passing shortcomings, it’s Perenara with Cameron and DMac with Ratima. BB only for the bench to play Argentina or Australia as backup FB to Stevenson.

Take Caleb Clarke, who’s not without experience in sevens rugby. The man’s one discernible trick is to run over people, which isn’t that tricky if they can tackle. For a guy who grew up playing centre, his passing also isn’t up to much.

Then there’s Rieko Ioane, who did go to Rio with Sonny Bill. Nothing wrong with his evasive skills but, again, here’s a bloke who can’t (or won’t) pass.

Well summed up as to why the Blues fail. Their stars arent team players.

What's the point of Sevens? It should be used to develop Test players, and would be better at it than Super Rugby

“If Manenti wants a way to use Hooper, it’s in that area of the game that he offers Australia a point of difference.”
POD? Really? Its what all top sides have. Have you watched the kiwis?

Five things we learned: One area Gordon must fix to convince Wallabies boss, ABs bruiser should be on notice

I too loved the armature days. The players could really motor….Such an electric atmosphere.

'We have to keep the essence of what rugby is about': All Black legend's worrying words of warning

The Aussies and Fijians were keen on trying a lot of razzle dazzle but displayed some godawful handling which was particularly surprising in the case of the Fijians. Was it that wet?

'Too many simplistic errors': Australia's men and women lose HK Sevens semis to NZ as Olympic selection battle heats up

Wow. Even more kiwi intelkectual property.

'It can be something great': Schmidt turns to 'scrum doctor' as next step in Wallabies rebuild

Of course he is. Apart from Slipper and Tupou there are no international props in Australia other than 3 recycled All Blacks.

'He'd been flogged to death': Rebels GM's scathing Tupou claim as Wallaby battles to reignite his fire

Isnt it ti.e to ditch the boring Thor nickname? Hes never kicked on to become a great prop because apart from Slipper theres noone in Aus thats better. I believe that had he stayed in NZ the more numerous and quality competition for AB status would have made him a better prop.

'We’d like to see Taniela stay': RA 'absolutely' want Thor for Lions, have 'contingency plans' for Rebels crisis
