It effects your liquor licence for the venue if some one was to audit your business as well as Stan itself. Which occurs more often than not, mostly with kayo and Spotify services. Most places that do this get away with it, but the penalities are very expensive.

Maybe the smaller places do, but a lot of pubs/venues in Melbourne don’t have it and won’t use someone’s own account as they might get in trouble with licensing.
Also yes they show the “main” game. But what about the rest? And that main game might not be the main game to another supporter of other teams.

I do agree with one thing. As much as I love how good Stan are doing with rugby content I don’t think it’s viable to get more viewers.
No pub can play majority of the games because of licensing. If they fixed that problem and more pubs had it, things might change.
More free to air needs to happen.

Other than that, please no more Eddie.

They did just loose a World Cup, I can’t imagine someone who would be hurting more. In time they will, foster said some great words.

Well played.

RWC News: World Rugby's epic troll in semis ref call, legend snipes at 'bandwagon' Kiwi fans, Bok great roasts Poms

To all the people saying eztebeths ball went forward need to put their glasses on and have a look at it before becoming the keyboard warrior they are.
It was a game of the ages, and I thought it was reffed very well. France had calls that went for them as well, just not in big moments.
There’s a rule in the rule book that states a deliberate knockdown has to go forward.
It went backwards so that call was bang on. His action even is bringing the ball towards his own try line. Do not know how you can argue against that. Someone said it goes forwards after it bounces, that’s just irrelevant as it’s from the hand to the ground.

I also think nick white is a hindrance at the moment to any fly half.

As I said previously, it’s a balance.
So when I was in Japan, we went to quite a few games luckily. And it was spread out from one end of the country to the other. With each gap between weeks, we were able travel to random towns experiencing what the country had to offer, and not have to rush between each one experiencing everything with out urgency to get to our next ticketed game. The entire trip that was rugby focussed gave myself, and other rugby die hard fans a balance between travelling and enjoying the culture as well as parking ourselves at games or pubs and watching rugby. As much as I love rugby, I don’t think I would have enjoyed Japan or the rugby nearly as much if I was watching almost everyday there. And majority of people drink while the rugby is on and it turns into a party each time after. Was incredible, we were at a venue where they ran out of beer and kegs were being passed over the crowd to the bar as the pub was that full. But that would wear off quickly if it was more frequent with games with people being tired, locals and tourists, more commotion as alcohol does cause problems and just an entire trip about having a beer each day watching a game at a stadium or at a pub. There was no problems when I was there with that balance.
It’s easier for us to say, more games are needed, but after having experienced going away and seeing an entire World Cup experience myself, I think they have it right. Benefits all aspects of economy and the entire nation, the culture and rugby. People will say you don’t have to watch all the games, yes that’s true, but that will cause the problem of half full stadiums and you would loose that “festival” atmosphere is there was too much on.

Three days of magic, then the ultimate buzzkill. How can we fix the biggest problem with the Rugby World Cup?

I personally disagree with this.
I did the Japan World Cup and really enjoyed the lay off time.
It not only gave us a chance to go to more games and watch more but experience the country. It gave us relaxed travel time, an opportunity to see different towns while moving towards our next ticketed venue and setting up camp for 3/4 days.
Also for the country itself, I’m assuming this would bring a better economy to the country with tourism for not only rugby venues but sight seeing and restaurants.
I found the vibe in the time off from the games incredible, as it was noticeable that there was an abundance of rugby fans getting amongst the culture. Then when the rugby was on, it was all about the game (and beers).
I think this was a really good balance and created a better atmosphere for everybody bringing the world together and showcasing each beautiful hosting nation. Not just the rugby fan that watches every match none stop from afar on a tv.

Both bans on the English are very soft tbh.
No arms and direct contacts to the heads should have been longer.

RWC News: ABs name strong team for Boks clash, Vunipola banned, journo rings alarm bells over key Wallabies

Not sure if you have ever watched a game of rugby if you are saying that. Pipe down and maybe watch a game of rugby plus look at all the work he does in ruck and mauls.

I think, in reguarding when to use jorgo, Eddie won’t use him the whole World Cup.
Eddie always talks about plans and the right moment, I’m guessing he already has a game and plan to use him and other players to beat different teams.
This also would check out with your analysis of combos, and I’m sure Eddie knows the combos better than anyone.
Great article.

ANALYSIS: How lost soul re-emerged to become Eddie's Wallabies 15 - and the surprising back-up who could still star

To be honest I liked Eddie’s press conference. He lost it a bit, but he’s really defending the players he’s picked. And the team. He’s giving full support to the wallabies and going in 100 percent.
And I agree, we should all do the same and have no distractions for them.
We really don’t know what is going on behind the scenes, but there would be a process, a system, and it’s just keyboard warriors saying there isn’t.
There could be also a 100 other reasons to why players aren’t picked rather than just based on ability.
Yes there is some questionable selections and I agree, but can’t sit here and moan about it. Going to support the decisions and let the players either step up or fall on their own sword.

Eddie was right about one thing in epic spray - the Wallabies must stop being reactive and accepting of mediocrity

Quade not going is an uproar.

Exclusive: Quade, Hooper to miss World Cup selection as Jorgensen rockets into squad

We need to get Harry a back drop for his video. He is always on the move or in the dark haha

Wallabies fans appear comfortable with 0 and 4 – but some obvious questions remain

Each game has seen a total improvement on the last.
The latest squad looked the most balanced. The back row, with more time together will be intense, I think Fraser did really well to cement his spot along hooper and Valentini.
Totally agree with having nick and gordan having a go together and tate and Quade.
Which combo to start though?
Props, is a huge worry. We were dominated at the front row.
Are there any overseas props playing that we could use? Hoskins? He’s a very good player and could be used. Vanivalu should not be on that plane. I’d put Tom right above him as he can cover full back and wing.
It’s annoying how we don’t know much about Micheal hoopers injury, he was on the goodbadrugby podcast and seemed fine. Maybe there’s more to it than they are showing.

This nah be controversial but I do not see the fascination with Caleb Clarke. He is good and a big body. But I personally think there’s a lot more wingers ahead of him.

Kiwi View: This All Black team can win the World Cup but is it better than 2019?

I have always liked Tate, his pass is definitely not the best but he does open up games and is not scared. I guess that’s part of his leadership. The pass no doubt he will be getting drilled at training with so maybe one day soon, it will just click.
Looking forward to seeing him with that backline and also having Fraser near him as support. Those two together are a huge threat.

'You love your country or you don't': Tate's defiant moment that proved he had fire and desire to lead Wallabies

Loved how he has been getting better all year but he has shown in big games he makes bad errors.
I want jock Campbell, but he just seems to get taken and held up every time he doesn’t hit that gap.
I’d go hodge/petia at 15.

Instant red card from swinton while Dane walks around laughing

Didn’t say he played bad, but another card. Said he’s a liability.

Thrown together Australia A side beaten by Tonga as Tupou completes comeback, mixed day for RWC hopefuls

Painful to watch really. Swinton is a liability and does not deserve the wallabies spot. International teams like South Africa and nz will antagonise his temperate every time.
Topou will bounce back, that would have given him confidence in his leg for sure. Jake gordan was pretty poor, game changed with a different half back on.

Thrown together Australia A side beaten by Tonga as Tupou completes comeback, mixed day for RWC hopefuls

Over all, a good looking team.
BUT… Jordan Uelese. If he throws crap and tries another chop tackle risking a penalty, he has to go permanently. He’s been giving enough chances.

I hope Alan has a better and bigger game this week. Interesting on the blindside option, but not terrible. Love the second row starting combo, that’s solid.

Wallabies CONFIRMED: 10 changes with McReight in for Hoops, Eddie's bench gamble, Rebel's debut and Suli dropped

Looks like an Australia a team there, apart from a select few.

Vision as important as selection after physical and mental battering - and it could mean following France's '19 RWC path

In your 23 who would you have 7 and 2 (plus reserve).
I love m.hooper but I think it’s time for him to come off the bench and give a real crack to mcright.
2 I’d have porecki and Faessler.
Suli needs to go, there’s too many other good wingers fighting for that spot now that know the game and bring other things.
