Large doses of amphetamines can cause seizures but it is rare, he may have taken more than he was suposed to, some people have a lower threshold to seizure activity on certain medications as well

Oliver's off-season from hell continues as Dees star charged for driving with suspended licence

they should have kept Ryan, otherwise the trades have been good, forward line should improve, midfield good, just need one tall down back to intercept mark and we should be competing with the better sides.

Jack's back: Gunston a Hawk again in dramatic end to Trade Period as Power land targets at the death

It’s interesting the term “Football act” is not tackling a Football act, I felt that many of the suspensions this year for tackles where a player’s head hit the ground were “unintentional” as well, and in many instances unavoidable, due to the force of the tackle and momentum of the tackled player prior to the collision his body can end up in an awkward position. The Tribunal sometimes uses Legal precedents to adjudicate on decisions, like for instance, the tort of negligence, but around finals time these precedents seem to be forgotten, feel like a lot of players who were suspended this year would look at this decision and feel a bit ripped off, I’m slightly ambivalent about the decision, I guess its how much of the rough stuff they want to stamp out of the game, do they want to reduce it to something like touch rugby, The game will continue to evolve down this path but unfortunately people haven’t, most of us want to see bravery and a bit of blood and guts, my local tavern is always Packed when the UFC is on

'Wanted to hit, wanted to hurt': Brayden Maynard - the guilty man found innocent

Today we have midweek city meetings at Sandown Warwick farm Belmont and Doomben, there is a country meeting in Mount Gambier, tomorrow its Bendigo Wagga Home Hill and Northam, not sure where you have been but i will confirm your suspicion yes us people who live in the country love our animals but no, lots of us want to race them myself and 80000 other people Australia wide work in the racing industry. you can pretend we don’t exist and hope we go away, Like the ABC does. very polarising, its kinda like going to Fox News website then go to CNN to completely different realities, a lot of country people rely on ABC for weather and Bushfire alerts but not much else these days. I don’t trust right or left sides of broadcast media

AFL News: 'Sooked it up' - Aker slams Murphy over 'biased' ABC story, Dons fan favourite bows out

bet you know what that big brown beaver song means Gary cause i sure as hell don’t, you should come to the track some time or go see a cup meet at a country town, instead of watching cartoons, you’d be surprised to see so many people around! love the scooby reference!

AFL News: 'Sooked it up' - Aker slams Murphy over 'biased' ABC story, Dons fan favourite bows out

yes Gary the ABC has an agenda against horse racing and gambling too, you’d think them being lefties and all that they would be promoting a sport that males and females compete together on equal terms, but they only report when a horse dies, or somebody is cruel to their dogs, the only positive stories in the last ten years have been about Jamie Kah and Michelle Payne, the reporting may be balanced but returning to the same old agendas is predictable and somewhat tiresome, Ita’s gone now, you can rest easy bro!

AFL News: 'Sooked it up' - Aker slams Murphy over 'biased' ABC story, Dons fan favourite bows out

Nash played on him last time and did quite well.

Six Points: Defending Daicos' 'dive', the moment that summed up Saints' slide, and why Mitchell is the AFL's best coach

Sydney Swans academy player sexually abused, former official jailed, there is silence, compared to the over paternalistic actions of the accused at Hawthorn, I find it astonishing, those two have been out for hawk blood since Richmond drafted Tamberling, wouldn’t waste my time listening to em mate!

Footy Fix: Mitchell's masterpiece! How 2023's finest coaching performance set up famous Hawthorn win

what about Chris Connolly! wouldn’t have been sacked if Jeff Farmer didn’t get suspended for half the season.

AFL News: Hardwick to quit Richmond job, Champion Data overturns Moore's incredible record, Dees brace for Oliver blow

Once Lawyers are involved things grind to a halt, they have to tabulate their expenses as they go and write lots of letters, each one costs $500.

'Destroyed the fabric of this guy': North great takes aim at racism process after Clarkson stands down

gynocentric! love that word

'Destroyed the fabric of this guy': North great takes aim at racism process after Clarkson stands down

i think Phil Egan was a poor choice, not because of the recent allegations, innocent until proven otherwise, but because he played for Richmond when they would be flogged by Hawthorn in the 80’s, Brereton and co openly admitted that they used to get under indigenous players skin to put them off their game, he may well have held onto some resentment from those times, but i suspect this is Jeff’s last parting shot at Clarkson, as he was unhappy with Alister’s list management over the last few years.

Clarkson stand-down the inevitable consequence of racism investigation botched from start to finish

Agree, then they can move Sicily to center half forward!

Favourite son or cursed child? Sam Mitchell finds out what it's like to walk in Nathan Buckley's shoes

Colours can change perceptions, seemed to me that it was a tradition for opposing supporters to boo Hawthorns number 23, now he is wearing different colours we can’t boo, he was booed a lot when he played at the hawks, didn’t hear any complaints then!

TOM MORRIS: Buddy booing is a blight on the game and McRae must send a powerful message to Magpies fans

good analysis of the game, as a neutral i thought the saints were lucky with a few umpiring decisions that led to a couple of their goals, looked like the power were switched on in the first, i was already nervous cause i tipped against them. Brad Hill provides lots of run does lots of good things but he still cant stick a tackle.

Footy Fix: Horne-Francis was incredible... but it was Hinkley's finest coaching hour that unlocked the Saints at last

hope the Hawks at least give them a scare!

Six Points: We need to change thinking on dangerous tackles, and why Duncan is the AFL's luckiest man

Agree Bont is a champ, hope Mitchell lets Nash play on him next week, to see if the young fellow can contest against one of the best.

Six Points: We need to change thinking on dangerous tackles, and why Duncan is the AFL's luckiest man

The loss of Lynch will be a blow, they will struggle to get close to any of the better performing teams without him. jack is still ok, but not the player he was 2-3 years ago

Hardwick's shortcomings are being exposed: Richmond's inability to win close games falls on the coach

2 teams in SA is enough, the AFL should have gone to Tassie and NT before having Suns and GWS. Relocate 2 struggling Vic teams to those places, the Swans and Lions are good examples of this, as they kept a percentage of their Vic Fans as a supporter base, and slowly built with their on field success in their new states

AFL News: Tigers make injury call on star duo, Bevo not worried by 'intense' scrutiny, SA team in expansion mix?

Trawling through the stats for a ray of hope as you do when your team has bottomed out, it seems the Hawks only win was in the midfield, they got it forward but Sydney intercepted and raced it down for a goal, that’s how it was for the whole game, the back six seem to have lost the ability to zone as they used to, might have something to do with Mitchel’s game plan, think it would have been wiser to have only offloaded only one of either Mitchel or O’Meara, they need to replace Jiath with Scrimshaw, He is an exciting player but he leaks goals.

Six Points: Bevo has a month to save himself, and the rule tweak needed to prevent another 'Sirengate'

Taranto and hopper kinda reminds me of Hawthorn getting Mitchell and O’Meara, Clarco got rid of the old midfeilders, Hardwick hasn’t, will be interesting to see if it works.

The dynasty is far from over: count Richmond out at your peril

Breust will be OK again this year hasn’t had a serious injury during his career, doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

Who can break into your club's Best and Fairest top 10? Part 2

agree the midfeid is thin, i’m more hopeful that Ward and others will develop this year we have had a stroke of luck with Newcome, looks as though McGuiness will have Tag role from Sheilds, I don’t rate Worpel, but I hope you are right, If Ward becomes a 25+ possession winner in midfeild then we only need another one or two like him to compete there, more excited about Tyler Brockman’s return than any other player at this stage.

2023 Best 23s: Forgotten B&F winner might be the key to getting Hawthorn back on track

It is folly to try and diagnose Mental Health problems through what is read through the hype of media articles, even psychiatrists get the wrong diagnosis regularly, pure speculation!

Is it time to stick a fork in the Tigers?

Hawthorn may have made a few mistakes with favorite sons in the 90s, but Parkin was coach in 78

Do clubs' favourite sons ever make good coaches?
