So who wrote ” bunch of sore uneducated fans”?

What is the point of extra time?

How can any team “win” a penalty? ~ don’t teams break the rules any more??

+1
and rename ‘golden point’ to “Lucky Dip” as FlameThrower suggests

What is the point of extra time?

That “lucky dip” is also used to score tries ~ teams that have poor running attack just put the ball high in-goal and there is a 50-50 chance of a try. Maybe the odds are even better than 50 – 50, because the defence is standing to jump while the attack is running to jump for the ball. More like an un-lucky dip to me.

What is the point of extra time?

When an extra-time game is decided solely due to an idiotically wrong refereeing decision, well, ya just gotta wonder . . . .

What is the point of extra time?

I’ve been as patient with Price as he’s been with the players, but it now seems pretty obvious that Price has little to no attacking strategy or understanding. In press confernces he repeats the same old cliche’s over and over and never provides any analyses of why Dragons lose games or why oppositions win ~ it’s always ball control, discipline, take our chances, opportunity . . . same old same old every week.
Well, if the same team keeps making the same juniour-grade mistakes time after time, week after week, game after game, what on earth is the coach coaching??

Is the Price right?

The question now, superstar, is ~ are the Dragons REALLY under-rated??
They play like the team that Brownie coached ~ A Dumb & Dumber mistakes Team ~
Forward passes from the scrum-base & from dummy-half. Same player every game.
Penalised time after time for the same infringement. Same player every game.
Attacking forward turning back on defence to walk backwards as long as possible. Same player every game.
Opening try against the Dragons almost always on Dragons right due to the same player rushing infield every game
~ the same dope who plays the ball facing the sideline & comes up with a new defensive stupidity every game.
If anything, the Dragons are over-rated. Especially with no competent organiser in attack, or tactical kicker.

I reckon Price was giving DeBelin a few runs just to get a feel for 1st grade myself. Better than throwing him straight into the deep end where too many young & talented players struggle or get targetted.

Of course the toads will win game 2. Otherwise game 3 won’t be a sell-out.

NSW have a 79% chance to win Origin

Agree with expectations & disappointment. Been there. Done that. No more.
However the “top 4” doesn’t count because the “top 8” play off for finals, and that is 50% of the comp. So half-way good enough is close enough to at least have a shot at it.

I’ve followed Dragons since 1965, and I reckon you’re over-rating the Dragons forwards just a titch. De Belin will for certain become a player in the mold of Gorden Tallis if he continues to improve at his current rate ~ another Dragons International methinks. But right now he’s still learning to run through, and it’s a pity Ben Creigh seems to have lost his touch at running through as of late, because the pair of them could be as damaging as the Wynn brothers once were.
IMHO Dragons still appear to play like a team of individuals rather than an individual team. Perhaps that is because of coaching, perhaps because of team restructure after Bennett stole the cream. Still, Dragons have come from 12th to play the preliminaries before, & they seem to be beginning to gel. But they must win tonight if they’re to be any chance of wearing any halo in 2013 .
2014 is looking pretty darn good to me

b/s d/s ~ it’s all so easy, isn’t it??

Top five Jamie Soward moments

Jamie got the Red V tattoo on his bicep after the 2010 GF. It’s no secret that he wanted to only play for the Dragons, but it seems to me that he took it for granted because he was the only 5/8th at the club, that he didn’t need to put in 100%+ effort every week after 2010. However the greatest players will drop themselves to lower grades when they know they aren’t performing.
That said, he was pretty much indispensable as a Dragons player. Until his heart got ripped out.
