Manly obviously want the Warriors working the ball back from a scrum, and i can see why! Every time the back 3 take the ball, the Warriors get a good rolling set and end up on the attack. Manly’s defence looks too tired and slow for the Warriors attack.

In contrast, the Warriors are throwing quite alot at Manly’s defensive line and are causing them some issues on their left edge defence. Green has had a hand in both tries, with some lovely ball playing to his backrowers.

Manly are really not showing alot with the ball and seem to be playing quite a reserved, controlled game. Cherry-Evans and Hodkinson have looked to find touch more often than not, and I can’t remember a significant attacking kick from Manly in the entire first half.

The Warriors look to have all the running after the first half, and if not for some poor discipline, giving away silly penalties, Manly would have really struggled to post points.

Warriors set sees Kata make a half bust down the left. a kick back across field bounces and looks like going into touch but Johnson throws it over his head and keeps it alive. Scooped up by Kelly, but its stolen 1 on 1 and the Warriors have the ball in a dangerous area.
After Papali’l threatens on the left edge, the ball comes back to the right and Green throws another lovely flat pass to Harris this time. Blake Green really pulling the strings for the Warriors. Harris goes over untouched again, after running a wonderful line.
